I have to start off by saying I’m so glad I continued with the series. This book was so much better than the first because it had more action and there was already some background so the author didn’t have to take the time to retell the same event four times and could go right in where the first book left off.
Unlike Pretty Little Liars, Flawless definitely had more suspense from the beginning. Firstly, the first book left me curious to find out who A was and why she/he might personally want to bury these girls in their own secrets. To me, there has to be a reason why someone would want to expose just those four girls, apart from their friendship with Allison. Also, the book had me wondering who Allison was hanging out with if it wasn’t the others as I’m pretty sure it wasn’t her Hockey friends as everyone thinks.
I’m also glad the book revealed a little more about what the “Jenna Thing” was and that it shed some light into why the friendship started to crumble. Along with that, I’m curious to see what secret Alli kept for Toby.
Overall, Flawless was an improvement over the first book in the series.
