I was tagged by Victoria to do this. Here goes!
Each question will eventually spell Inside out.
Inside flap / Back of the book summaries: Too much info? Or not enough (Discuss)
I feel like some books have too much information while others don’t have enough. I think a basic blurb/summary is fine, but don’t say too much! Also, don’t have the summary just be people saying they liked the book. Mix it up!
New book: What form do you want it in? Be honest: audio book, e-book, paperback, or hardcover?
Honestly, I love new books in hardback. To me, paperbacks are too flimsy and don’t stay flat after reading. If audio books weren’t so expensive–they cost more than hardcover–I’d want those. Ultimately, I would like hardcover and braille copies of the books, but braille books are hard to find.
Scribble while you read? Do you like to write in your books, taking notes, making comments, or do you keep your books clean clean clean? (Tell us why.
Well, I can’t see so I don’t write, but even if I could I don’t think I would. I might write in a notebook or use post its. I do write down my thoughts on Goodreads so that helps.
In your best voice, read for us your favourite first sentence from a book.
Well, you can’t hear me so I don’t know how this would work. I’ll skip this question.
Does it matter to you whether the author is male or female when you’re deciding on a book? What if you’re unsure of the author’s gender?
I don’t care who writes the book unless they’re rude or something. However, I usually tend to go toward female-written books. If you have any recommendations for male-written books let me know. ☺
Ever read ahead? Or have you ever read the last page way before you got there?
Well, actually no I don’t read ahead. When I do have a braille copy, I still don’t read ahead as I don’t want to be spoiled. Also, it’s harder–almost impossible to read ahead in audio.
Organised bookshelves, or outrageous bookshelves?
Definitely NOT organized.
Under oath: have you ever bought a book based on the cover (alone)?
Nope. Kinda hard to do over here. ☺
Take it outside to read, or stay in?
I usually stay in although I would like to go out more. I’m going to definitely try and go out more in spring.
